My various downloads all in one place. How to use:
Scroll down to find the subject you want. If there’s a folder icon on the far left click to expand it and show the contents. Hover over any individual item (goes a lovely shade of peach and gives a thumbnail preview), and use the download icon on the far right to download it to your own device. You can move up and down the folders as on any computer. If you have a problem email me on morwenna(at)theladyorganist.com
I’ve included a link to the relevant blog article with more explanation if required.
ORGAN AND ORCHESTRA
See Organ and orchestra? – yes you can! for the full story. The pieces vary from ensemble pieces for organ and strings, to full organ concerti. All this music originated in IMSLP, the directory of public domain music, and is out of copyright. The first listing contains orchestral parts that I created from full scores using Partifi, the free part-making tool for musicians.
NB I was slightly concerned whether the Partifi parts would be legible at A4, so had them printed at the local copy shop at A3 size. I then bought some large pieces of card so the music didn’t flop all over the music stands – see the picture at the top of the blog post.
Some further organ + orchestra scores and parts from IMSLP:
CARL HEMANN
Carl Hemann was my great-grand-uncle, and a organist and composer of local fame in the north of England. He wrote some very rum-ti-tum music, examples of which you can download below. More details in Carl Hemann, neglected Yorkshire composer, and a second follow-up post here.
