A recital by Andrew Benson-Wilson on the Handel chamber organ at St George’s, Hanover Square, before its move in May to The Handel House Museum.
This all-Handel concert, given for The Handel Friends, will explore the music that Handel composed for, or might have played on, a chamber organ like this. Andrew will move to the large 2012 Richards Fowkes & Co organ at the church for the second half of the concert to demonstrate how Handel’s music might have been performed by English parish church organists of his day.
